Friday night became a tradition at some point this year. I never had to ask and knew that we’d be getting together for dinner and drinks on Friday. This Friday happened to be the 100 year birthday of Liberty Hall and so there was a block party here in downtown Lawrence. Since we’re moving soon, Papa Keno’s is definitely on the list of places worthy to spend our last few meals. Their pizza is the closest to NY/NJ pizza out here in Kansas, really so good. And Anne and Eric had never been so it was a must! We caught some of the block party action, but missed out on the projection of the Liberty Hall Flaming Lips concert on the outside screen. I’m bummed about that. We hit the usual spot: Dynamite Saloon, and ended the night at Buffalo Wild Wings so I could finally have a Sam Adams Summer Ale. All of these shots are fujifilm 160s taken with the minolta x-370.
