A pupventure: Rosie.

On Monday, after moving from Lawrence to a new home in New York, we finally had the house set up and ready to welcome a new member. We went to Hemlock Aussies to pick out our pup. It was this little one, then named Mist, who was most friendly and fun with us, so she was the one! We visited with her momma, who as you can see below, hugged me and had a pep talk with Andy to give us her blessing, gave her a bath (she LOVED  standing in front of the fan, silly girl!).

After the long car ride home, during which she just wanted to nap and cuddle, we brought her into the house so she could sniff her way around and explore her new home. Then we spent some cuddle time with her so she would hopefully feel loved and safe. She looks pretty content to me! Ever since she’s been happy, playful, sleepy, rambunctious, and oh so sweet. She is so gentle whenever taking treats or playing with her toys. She is learning very quickly and knows to go to the back of the house, and sometimes by the door, to let us know she has to go out. Then she always goes! This is just the first day we got her, so more photos to come!
