Rosie ’round town.

The dog training book I have goes into great detail about all the different things you need to expose a puppy to in order to properly socialize them. Apparently fear biting is a big problem with Australian Shepherds so if you don’t get them used to things at a young age, they may lash out in fear later in life and bite when scared, and scare more easily. In order to avoid that, we’ve been trying to take Rosie everywhere and anywhere, and downtown here is great for her to experience all the sights, sounds, and people! And it is fun for us, too; me especially because the town is so photogenic! All the photos below were taken on a nikon f100 with kodak portra 160. Enjoy!

  1. I think that what I need is an “all Rosie all the time” channel. I’m more than a little bit in love with her.

  2. college towns have so much charm and yours looks great that painted doorway is pretty amazing! our girl, the kids decided on Boots, after a character in the series I’ve been reading them all summer, can’t be out in public yet. she still needs one more round of shots, after that we’re getting her out and about too.
