The light in the new place.

We’re just renting for now. I was excited to discover that houses with big and several windows are more the norm out here than they were back east or in Lawrence; guessing that’s because there are times of the year where we get such little light, that every bit counts? So when we move into a more permanent location, windows and the yard size will have to be at the top of the list of priorities.

I’m still figuring out the light in our rental but I have found the best spots so far to be:

light in the new house (6 of 6) light in the new house (5 of 6) light in the new house (4 of 6) light in the new house (3 of 6) light in the new house (2 of 6) light in the new house (1 of 6)

  1. Dude, the light! And yes, there is so little light so many days of the year around here that you need big windows. Just remember that even though porches are magnificent, they’ll block so much light that you really don’t want one. Unless you’re planning on using the rooms at the back of the house for photography purposes.

Also, I am in love with all of those, and would love a print of the black and white and second to last images. Bring your negs next time you’re here and we’ll go make prints at my work, okay?
