Tacoma Instameet

Long time, no blog. Yes. Andy and I recently bought a house. More about THAT later. For today, I want to share the film shots I took during the Tacoma Instameet. It was actually written up in The News Tribune on the day after I got my film back from PhotoworksSF! A group of Instagrammers from in and around Tacoma got together in Opera Alley at B Sharp Coffeehouse and went on a photo walk. We were given admission to the beautiful W.W. Seymour Conservatory (which you may remember from this post) and then met up at the Social Bar and Grill for the after party, which included awesome giveaways from this amazing local artist and a Photo Booth! It was a very fun event that was supposed to be centered around Instagramming, but surprisingly, most folks were using cameras OTHER than their mobile phones. I saw quite a few dSLRs and even a handful of film cameras.

Here are the Hasselblad shots I got, some of which I’ve already shared on my Instagram. Normally wouldn’t share film there, but several of the folks at the meet were looking forward to seeing these, and because of the event, we now all follow each other on IG:
